Dr. Blair Lee

I am happy to inform you that the new Head of School, Dr. Richard Swann, and I have been working closely to ensure there is a purposeful and strategic transition of the leadership of DAIS/DHS. I find him to be thoughtful, relational, and immensely knowledgeable of both international and bilingual education. I am also impressed with his understanding of education in China and the many nuances and complexities that it brings. 

In addition to our biweekly meetings, Richard will be coming to DAIS/DHS in the spring to join us for our WASC accreditation visit. This will be a key time for DAIS and DHS-S as we complete the self-study process for reaccreditation but also develop the strategic plan for the next six years. Richard will also set up multiple meetings with key stakeholders to ensure he gains a good understanding of our culture prior to commencing his new role in August 2022.
