
Tom Rogers began his teaching career in Wuhan in 2003 in a university in southern Wuhan. Since then he has worked in many educational institutions in the city. He has studied at Liverpool, John Moores University, the University of Sheffield and the University of Sunderland. He has also taken short courses at Athabasca University, Sichuan International Studies University and Hubei University. He has a teaching certificate for England and for British Columbia. He is also TEFL certified. He first joined Maple Leaf in 2008. This is the fourth year that he has been part of the administration team at MLIS-W and the first in the role of principal. He is grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to the great team that exists in the school. He looks forward to continue working with all students, staff and parents to support the high quality learning that is taking place at Maple Leaf.
