At KIS International School in Shenzhen, our mission is to mold happy global citizens. With this in mind, our school will continue growing into a more and more prestigious school. We have developed many distinctive characteristics that define our school and have lead to its ongoing success. 

Our educational system consists of 14 grade levels, ranging from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade. Our elementary school (pre-k – 6th grade) and middle school (7th – 9th grades) 
are operated 100% in English according to American curriculum. During high school (10th – 12th grades), we create individual plans based on each student’s personalized
university admission path.

At KIS, we understand that one of the vital principles of becoming a global citizen is the broadening of linguistic horizons. As a response to significant interest we have constructed well-developed systems of instruction for a variety of languages, including English, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish.

We are dedicated to ongoing university admissions research. At KIS, we recognize that our secondary school students have a variety of personalities, interests, and abilities. 
We operate a professional research and counseling team made up of both teachers and administrators dedicated to giving each student guidance on the best way to proceed on their academic career paths. As a result we have graduates attending top-ranked universities in South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, and China.

At KIS, we pride ourselves on presenting our students with a complete education, thus eliminating the need for private tutoring. 
This is an especially satisfactory situation for our high school students. KIS offers elective classes and night classes in a wide variety of courses, including six different AP subjects and
SAT preparation, at no extra cost. In addition, after-school programs are provided in order to advance our students’ capacities in many areas, such as orchestra, robotics, art,-
programming, etc.

Our school also operates the KIS Weekend Korean School. During each semester, we operate a sixteen-week Korean-language program focusing on systematic instruction in 
Korean language, Korean history, and mathematics.
