Hello everyone! I am Veronica Pinana from the Philippines’ have been teaching Chemistry for 20 years.

As a new teacher in Nanchang Number 2 High School I introduce innovative approaches and strategies in my chemistry class to be able to achieve the Nova Scotiacurriculum outcomes.

I am an environmentalist as I actively participate in tree planting, recycling programs in the community, medical mission, and gift-giving to street children. I have an active but simple lifestyle as I enjoy running,dancing, building and programming a Robot. I am very determined person focused on my goal. Just when things get too rough and taxing, the more I am driven to pursue and‘never say die’.

Teaching in Nanchang Number 2 High School opens a new avenue for me to expand the confines of life beyond my comfort zone. I saw the beauty and magic of Teaching and realized I can “Make a Difference!”.
