高中时代，和同学一起主办的校刊曾获纽约州“最佳校刊”。大学期间，研修政治学和媒体学，还获得历史学和中学教育的硕士。曾在纽约州的中学教过世界历史和美国历史，做过11年的游泳队教练，还曾做过纽约州波基普西市青年商会的负责人。 2013年8月份至今一直在中国执教。

Inhigh school, my classmates and I produced a school newspaper awarded the bestin New   York State.Later, I earned a BA in Political Science and Media Studies, and a MA inHistory and Secondary Education. I have taught World History and AmericanHistory in New   York Stateschools, coached swim team for 11 years and served as director of thePoughkeepsie JCC business operations, classes and programs. I have taught inChinasinceAugust, 2013.
