Nicholas Bright

Nicholas Bright BA (Hons) Mathematics, New College, Oxford University 
Nick is a lover of Mathematics who has enjoyed teaching the subject in a wide variety of schools and colleges in a wide range of locations.  He initially worked as a Banker in the City of London for four years, before leaving to learn how to teach in the UK independent sector.  Over the past twenty years his achievements include helping to set up one of the first Special Needs Schools in Cairo, running the Maths department at the Academy founded by the President of Malawi, being the Head of Mathematics at Sixth Form colleges in Shanghai and Qingdao and being the only male teacher at an all-girls school in Kuwait.  Outside the classroom, Nick has been a residential tutor in boys boarding houses and he has assisted British and foreign students as they prepare to apply to English and Scottish universities; he is also a keen cross-country runner and coach.
