美中国际部通过TEDx 演讲活动为学生打造一个交流的舞台，让每一个年龄段的学生都有机会表达自我，自信发声。从亲身感受出发，阐释和理解有价值的话题，同时思考和探索世界。每个学生的想法和认知不同，他们相聚在一起共同聆听、坦诚分享，用自己的想法努力改变社区和世界。

TEDx SMIA鼓励学生将声音传递与分享出去，在更大的范围内引发讨论与反思，促进人与人之间的交流。美国著名教育家戴尔·卡耐基说：“一个人的成功，15%靠他的专业知识，而另外的85%则靠社交能力，特别是公众演讲能力。”TEDx 的演讲训练为学生的未来之路铺就了基石。

TEDx Shenzhen Meizhong International Academy (SMIA) has been officially authorized by TED in the United States and is independently operated by the school as a nonprofit organization. SMIA has introduced TEDx onto campus, dedicated to uncovering and disseminating ideas that can reignite curiosity and stimulate thinking, while also providing a platform for students to bravely express themselves.

Through TEDx speaking events, SMIA creates a stage for students to communicate, allowing students of every age group the opportunity to express themselves confidently. Starting from personal experiences, students interpret and understand valuable topics while contemplating and exploring the world. Each student has unique ideas and perceptions, and they gather together to listen attentively, share openly, and strive to change their community and the world with their thoughts.

TEDx SMIA encourages students to convey and share their voices, sparking discussions and reflections on a broader scale and facilitating communication among people. The famous American educator Dale Carnegie once said, "Fifteen percent of one's success is due to his professional knowledge, and 85% is due to his ability to get along with people, especially his public speaking ability." The speech training provided by TEDx lays the foundation for students' future paths.

TEDx is a program launched by TED in 2009, aiming to encourage spontaneous TED-style events around the globe. After being officially authorized by TED, localized curator teams can gather people from various regions to share different experiences and explore more fascinating local ideas.

The TEDx curator teams firmly believe in the power of ideas to change the world. They hope to spark in-depth exchanges and connections between speakers and audiences through live speeches and jointly watching TED talk videos, thereby inspiring and encouraging everyone.
