在新学期，顺义诺德安达奖学金涵盖学术、艺术、STEAM、体育四大申请方向。

在“安达励志，志在高远”的教育理念之下，我们希望能通过奖学金机制，发掘并鼓励在个人品性、学术水平、社会交往中拥有杰出表现的学生，对为顺义诺德安达社区发展做出杰出贡献的成员进行表彰。

鼓励他们不断突破自我并能持续成为校园榜样，为学校社区乃至社会带去更积极、更富有生命力的影响。

学校也用吉祥物云豹来命名奖学金，期待学生目光敏锐、思维敏捷、行动迅速，并且能用一双中国眼去探索世界、赢得未来。

奖励在艺术方面有创造力的学生，适用于就读三至十年级的学生。

针对在运动方面勇于挑战自我，有突出表现的学生进行奖励，适用于就读五至十年级的学生。

✓ 填写及提交奖学金申请

✓  完成支付第一学期学费

✓  提交过去一年学习成绩单复印件

✓  提供相关领域所获官方认可奖项或证书记录

✓  提供其他支持性文件和材料以证明在相关领域的能力

奖学金申请将于2024年6月7日下午5点截止。逾期提交将不被接受。

学生可通过填写线上奖学金申请表格及提交相关文件至 scholarshipshunyi@nasshunyi.cn 进行申请。

HOW DO WE REVIEW THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

对于奖学金申请者，我们会进行严格的考评与审核，学校校长、学监、学部主管、学科负责人会组成奖学金评审委员会，对申请学生进行全方位评估。

为保证奖学金颁发的合理性，学校将全面考察学生的学术情况、专业水平、过往成长及学习经历，对体育、戏剧、音乐、艺术、辩论和团队竞赛的热忱及贡献等领域进行全方位的审核，经过多轮评审讨论后最终确定获奖名单。

圆梦心仪大学

我们为学生提供长达6年的系统化升学指导与生涯规划。

在7-9年级，学生会通过MBTI、霍兰德等专业性格与职业测试来让学生认清自我，思考未来从事的职业。

学校配备专业升学指导团队，负责为学生提供专业的升学指导，进入高中阶段后，学生会详细了解大学升学的相关情况。升学指导老师将通过多次沟通确定每个学生的申请策略，帮助学生准备文书、推荐信等升学材料，协助学生完成大学申请。

NAS Beijing, Shunyi provides many scholarship options, covering categories of academics, arts, STEAM, and sports.

‘Be Ambitious’ is the educational philosophy of NAS Beijing, Shunyi. Through the scholarship scheme, we hope to identify and encourage students with outstanding performance in personal character, academics, and social interaction, and to recognise members who have made outstanding contributions to the development of NAS, Beijing, Shunyi’s community.

We encourage our students to break through and continue to be role models on campus, bringing a more positive and life-affirming impact to the school community and society.

We named the scholarship after the school mascot, the Clouded Leopard. We hope students to be sharp, quick-thinking, fast-acting, and able to explore the world and embrace the future with a Chinese perspective.

Academic Excellence Scholarship

Available to students applying to Grades 6-10,

 with excellent academic performance or great progress.

STEAM Scholarship

eligible for students, from Year 5 to Year 10, with excellent performance in STEAM. 

Visual Arts Scholarship

eligible for students, from Year 3 to Year 10, with talents and creativity in visual arts. 

Performing  Arts Scholarship

eligible for students, from Year 3 to Year 10, with talents and potential in performing arts.

Sports  Scholarship

eligible for students, from Year 5 to Year 10, with outstanding performance in sports.

✓  Settle first-semester tuition fee

✓  Provide the printed copy of the last year’s school report/transcript

HOW DO WE REVIEW THE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

Applicants of our scholarships will be reviewed and selected according to our strict rules. A Scholarship Committee including the Principal, the Superintendent, the heads of divisions, and the heads of departments will assess all aspects of the student's application.

To ensure that the scholarships are awarded reasonably, the school will comprehensively examine the student's academic profile, proficiency of skills, development and learning experiences, enthusiasm and contribution to sports, drama, music, art, debating and team competitions, and other perspectives. The short-listed candidates will be offered scholarships after several rounds of evaluation and discussion.

At NAS Beijing, Shunyi, nestled in the vibrant Shunyi district, we're not just a school; we're a family dedicated to nurturing the next generation of global leaders. Here, learning transcends the classroom. Our students are also bilingual citizens of the world, embracing new ideas, and respecting diverse cultures. They are proud of their Chinese heritage, and celebrate the rich tapestry of our culture.

Who Can Apply

We welcome families who share the school's ethos and hope their children achieve excellence in an international school.

Before enrolment, we recommend that each family attends an Open Day and has an in-depth conversation with the Principal and the teachers to gain a good understanding of the school's curriculum, characteristics of teaching and learning, and all-round development programmes.

We assess each applicant's academic performance, English proficiency, and how they behave and socialize. We also take the family's needs, expectations, and plans into consideration to provide personalised support and education plans to ensure every student’s long-term development.

Year Groups for Application

Applications to all three divisions are open for 2024 Autumn Entry. 

Primary School: Year 1 to Year 5

Middle School: Year 6 to Year 9

High School: Year 9 to Year 11

Eligibility: Eligible for students of all nationalities and birthplaces

Boarding Options: We have seven-day boarding and five-day boarding for students from Year 4 onward.

Our Curriculum

In terms of the curriculum, the school integrates the Chinese National Curriculum, feature classes, and international educational concepts and resources. We emphasise both a good foundation in Chinese culture and an international perspective.

For China’s 9-year Compulsory Education, we strictly follow the Chinese National Curriculum, and, at the same time, consolidate their foundation of knowledge and skills, and enhance their soft skills and English abilities by using personalised teaching and collaborative, thematic, and other methods.

In high school, our students do the IGCSEs, which aligns with the globally recognised A-Level programme. The A-Levels are a pathway to elite universities, which are students’ goals, around the world.

Making Students’ Dreams Come True

We provide students with systematic guidance and career planning for up to 6 years.

From Year 7 to Year 9, students take personality and career tests such as the MBTI and Hollander's to help them know themselves and think about their future careers.

The school has a college counseling team that offers detailed guidance. After entering high school, students will learn more about applications for universities. 

The counselors will make each student a plan of applications to higher education based on multiple communications, help the student prepare documents, letters of recommendation, and other materials, and assist them in completing his or her application.
