走过期末的转角,同学们来到了MKBS结业面试的巷口。1月26日上午,MKBS国内高中部全体同学,等候在千人剧场,期待着盘点自己一学期的成长与蜕变。

同学们将在此刻描绘自己在一学期中看到的远远近近的“风景”:“本学期最大的收获是我拿到了苏州市中小学生书法比赛一等奖。”“虽然我期中考试总分超过了一本线,但我仍有很大的提升空间。”“我对所选的CCA课程非常感兴趣,但其他的课程对我的‘诱惑’也很大,我很矛盾下学期该如何选择。”“利用好寒假的弯道,好好研读老师们给我们精心推荐的优质书目。”

 

Self-summary is an important link in the multiple evaluation of MKBS education, and it is also a necessary quality and ability for any MKBS students who are interested in serving the country and changing the society.

In the question and answer session, the judges matched the children with a wide range of novel interview topics according to their learning conditions, which involve study and life, interests and hobbies, phenomenon analysis, philosophical speculation and so on.

My interest in MKBS began with its colorful appearance. Every building here has both traditional cultural heritage and modern fashionable elements, which makes it interesting and interesting. I've been at MKBS for a year and a half, and along the way, I feel like I've changed a lot. I've become more willing to actively explore topics that I wasn't interested in before, thanks to the creative teaching models here, such as cooperative teaching, situational teaching, and scenario-based teaching. This semester there were many activities in school. Which one impressed you the most? Why?

行知课程泰山之旅让我印象最深刻,姚鼐的《登泰山记》中说“苍山负雪,明烛天南。望晚日照城郭,汶水、徂徕如画,而半山居雾若带然。”本次行知课程让我亲身感受到了姚鼐文中所写的壮观之美,让我从课本知识走向了大自然,这种从知识到行动的教育方式,把我的兴趣“焊接”到了文化的“泉眼”上。

The trip to Mount Taishan impressed me most, Yao Nai's "Mount Taishan Record" said, "Cangshan bears snow ; candle lights south. The setting sun over a city wall, Wenshui and Sorai are picturesque, while the clouds that stayed halfway up the mountain were like a dancing ribbon." This  practice & research course let me personally feel the spectacular beauty of Yao Nai's article, and let me move from textbook knowledge to nature. This way of education from knowledge to action "welded" my interest to the "spring" of culture.

这学期开展的活动很多,每个活动都有不同的特色,其中让我感触比较深刻的就是MKBS艺术节,同学们在这次艺术节上用乐器、歌声、话剧、影视等多元方式展现了艺术文化的魅力。同学们从CCA和ECA社团课习得的“技能”,有了更多施展才华的机会。

This semester, there were many activities, each with different characteristics, and one of them impressed me deeply was the MKBS Arts Festival, in which students demonstrated the charm of art and culture in various ways, such as playing musical instruments, singing, drama, and film. 在强学科、厚人文的基础上,结业面试同样成为MKBS教育的一抹亮色。MKBS为同学们提供了一个模拟社会面试的“练习平台”,让学生能够在这个“平台”上获得语言表达的锻炼、形象气质的提升、逻辑思维的训练,展现出自己独有的魅力。


每一学期末的结业面试,都将会是一次“试炼”。学生能够在这一次次的试炼中,逐渐适应面试的压力环境,并不断提升自己的各项能力和综合素养,为今后真正走上社会做好良性的铺垫。

 

On the basis of strong academic disciplines and humanities, the final interview has also become a bright colour of MKBS education. MKBS provides students with a "practice platform" for mock social interviews, where they can practise their language, improve their image, train their logical thinking, and show their unique charms.


The final interview at the end of each semester will be a "trial". Students can gradually adapt to the stressful environment of the interview and continuously improve their abilities and comprehensive quality in this trial, so as to pave the way for the real society in the future.
