开学伊始，美高创始人导师班将再次接受申请。这将是我们第三次开设导师班，所有预备年级，10年级和11年级的学生均有资格申请。

导师班将从学习、生活和心理健康等多个方面，为我们最好的学生提供额外的指导。我们希望确保学生都能够做好充分的准备，进入自己梦想的学校。特此通知:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you that Living Word Shanghai’s Mentorship Class will once again be accepting applications. This will be the third year of our mentorship class and all students in grades 9, 10, and 11 are eligible to apply. Its goal is to provide extra guidance to our best students from multiple aspects such as learning, preparation for further study and mental wellness. We want to ensure students can fully be well prepared to enter into their dream schools for their university studies. We hereby inform you as follows:

美高导师制

LWS MENTORSHIP

此课程由我们美高董事长方先生亲自授课，希望教授学生们关于道德、批判性思维和领导力方面的独特见解。

Our president, Mr. Edward J. Fang, personally taught the class and wanted to impart these students with extra insight on morals, critical thinking, and leadership.

学校将根据学生提交的申请材料，择优选择。

Academic department will give out fair decision basing on the students' application materials.

申请流程

Application process

1、填写纸质申请表交至班主任 Fill in application form and submit it to your homeroom teacher. 

2、报名表收集截止日 10 月 13 号。Application Form Collection Deadline Oct 13th.

3、辅助材料初审 Preliminary examination of materials

4、校领导复审并公布名单 Academic Department reviews and announce the final student list.

导师制活动设置

Mentor setting

a.一学期开学时与期末时会安排两次导师与家长见面；

b.学生与导师每周见面一次，导师通过了解本周学生情况，帮助学生安排下周学习计划；

c.届时导师将负责学生推荐信书写。

At the beginning and the end of a semester, two meetings will be arranged between the mentor and parents. The students’ tutorial with the Mentor will be once a week, the Mentor helps the students arrange the plan for the next week by knowing the situation of the students in current week. Meanwhile the mentor will be responsible for writing the student's recommendation letters.

美高导师制，让优秀有潜力的学生从学习到活动、日常表现、考试安排、升学规划、家校沟通等多方面做到更细致全面的管理。通过建立固定的新型师生关系，发挥导师的专业指导作用来提高学生综合能力。

The Mentorship System is designed to provide detailed and comprehensive management for outstanding and potential students in various aspects, including academics, extracurricular activities, daily performance, exam arrangements, career planning, and parent-school communication. By establishing stable and innovative teacher-student relationships, it leverages the expertise of mentors to enhance students' overall capabilities.
