有“十项全能”之称的Elle是一个活泼开朗的女孩。作为顺义诺德安达的创校生，在这一年中她交到了很多要好的朋友，在课堂中学到了很多有益的知识。

Elle还在学校的各种活动中崭露头角，并准备为创建学校第一个垒球队而努力。

在Elle身上能看到诺德学子们为追求卓越不断努力得身影。

在加入顺义诺德安达之前，Elle一直在公立学校读书，当临近六年级毕业的时候，家里人开始询问她对未来的想法，“你是继续在公立校读书？还是尝试国际学校？”

经过慎重的思考，Elle觉得自己从来不是一个 “乖巧”的学生，传统升学路径中的题海战术并不适合自己的成长需求：“我要上国际学校”，这就是Elle对于这个问题的回答。

在仔细考察很多学校后，Elle与家人决定选择顺义诺德安达，把这里当做孩子成长与发展的舞台。强大的集团化教育资源是做出这个决定的首要原因。

顺义诺德安达拥有全球化的优质教育资源和教师队伍，也可与分布在世界各地的诺德安达学校互动，还有与MIT、茱莉亚音乐学院等著名大学有紧密的合作的特色课程。

在学校提供的GLOBAL CAMPUS全球校园在线学习平台上，学生们能找到丰富的学习资源，发现多种可激发探究精神和创造力的教育项目。

此外学校国际化的教学方法，“不掐尖、不内卷”的教学理念，与多元化的课程设置也让学生与家长十分欣喜。这些都促使Elle一家最终选择了诺校。

交到新朋友，融入新校园

MAKING NEW FRIENDS AND ADAPTING TO THE NEW SCHOOL

在中学阶段，孩子们都有很强的社交需求，都想找到自己的好伙伴、好朋友。对于要走进一所新学校，构建一个新社群的创校生更是这样。

在刚进入学校的时候，Elle非常担心能不能融入班级与学校，自己会不会被无视、被孤立。但结果让她意想不到，这里的同学们都非常热情、非常友好，以Elle自己的话说：“我们以迅雷不及掩耳的速度成为好朋友”。

在开学不到一周的时间里，就都有了玩得来的小伙伴。在日后的学习生活中，这份友情也给了她很多支持与鼓励。

在本学期，Elle的脚在一次校外俱乐部的训练中意外骨折了。做了支具后Elle只能坐轮椅来上学，令她最感动的是同学们非但没有冷嘲热讽，而是非常关心她。

在那段时间，Elle听到最多的话就是“你好点了吗？”，每当听到来自小伙伴们的问候，Elle都超级开心，用她的话说“就连骨折的腿也觉得没那么疼了”。

小伙伴们也给Elle提供了很多帮助。比如说帮她在教室、食堂、操场等地找适合的位置，帮她接水、盛饭、拿东西等等。

学校也给了很多方便与支持，比如提供电梯卡让Elle能方便上下楼，老师们也不断的伸出援手，帮Elle上下班车、推进出学校。这些都让Elle感到了家一样的温暖。

友善的老师，有趣的课堂

学校老师们也十分友善与平易近人。他们在短时间内了解了Elle的成长特点、学习、兴趣爱好等方面的情况。每次与老师交流的时候，Elle都觉得老师们都特别了解自己的需求，她们不仅是老师还好朋友。

顺义诺德安达的课堂也十分有趣，老师们上课不死板，不生搬硬套。老师们有时用生动形象的语言使学生牢牢记住新知识，有时也让学生通过分组探讨将新学的知识融会贯通。

个性化教学是学校课堂的一大特色，老师们根据Elle的学习情况，为她设置了适合的学习内容，并提供了明确的学习计划与指引，这让她保持了积极的学习兴趣与热情。在学习课本之余，老师们还会补充相关的重点小知识。

这样的学习方法既让Elle学得扎实，又提升了她的学习动力。通过不断的努力，Elle获得了各科老师的认可与好评，也经常有机会获得校内各种奖项。在本学期，她获得了作为学校重点奖项的云豹奖。

丰富的课外活动

COLOURFUL EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

丰富的校园活动是顺义诺校的一大特色。在每个学期，学校都会举办诸如音乐节、艺术周、游泳比赛等丰富多彩的活动，这都是孩子们锻炼自己，展示自己的好机会。

Elle自诩“十项全能”，因此她对这些校园活动再喜欢不过了。每个活动她都积极参与，每次比赛都精心准备。这学期，她创办了中国古代历史社团，还获得了多项游泳比赛冠军，多个音乐和舞蹈演出也获得了大家的好评，可谓收获满满。

垒球是Elle最喜爱与擅长运动，在即将到来的新学期，她计划筹建学校的第一个垒球队，希望在顺义诺德安达的校园里取得更大的成绩。

Elle, an all-round girl, is very outgoing and active. As one of our first founding students, she has made many good friends and learned a lot from our classes. 

Elle also showed her talents in various activities and is determined to found our softball team.

Elle is an example of hard-working NAS pupils pursuing perfection.

Elle used to be a student in a public school before joiningNAS Beijing, Shunyi. Before finishing her primary school education, her parents asked her if she wanted to study in the local system or switch to the international school. 

After careful consideration, Elle thought she was not a typical ‘good student’ and was not fond of the examination-oriented approach. Then she said she wished to go to an international school. 

Visited quite a few schools, Elle and her family finally chose NAS Beijing, Shunyi, a platform for children to grow and develop, for NAE’s excellent global educational resources. 

NAS Beijing, Shunyi has a globalized team of teachers and educational resources which gives us access to connection with other NAE schools around the world. 

Students can also study the courses we designed with prestigious institutions such as MIT and Julliard School.

On the global study platform, GLOBAL CAMPUS, students can find rich educational resources and programmes boosting their inquiry and creative skills. 

In addition, our unique education methods and concepts as well as our all-round curriculum satisfied parents. 

Therefore, Elle eventually chose to join NAS Beijing, Shunyi. 

交到新朋友，融入新校园

MAKING NEW FRIENDS AND ADAPTING TO THE NEW SCHOOL

Secondary school students have more social demands so they all want to have companions and friends. 

For the first batch of students coming to a new community, making new friends is more crucial. 

Elle was worried and feared that she might not integrate into the new school at first. It was a pleasant surprise that everyone was kind. Elle said she and her peers became good friends in no time. 

Within one week after the new school year commenced, they had good friends. And their friendship brought them support and encouragement. 

Elle had a bone fracture on her foot during training in the club this term. She had to go to school sitting on a wheelchair. She was touched by her classmates who cared for her a lot. 

Elle’s friends always asked her whether or not she got better at that period of time. Elle was happy and her foot was less painful because of her friends’ greetings and care. 

Elle’s peers were very supportive: they found her seat in the classroom, dining hall, and playground; they helped her to get water, food, and carried things. 

The school gave a lift card for Elle so she could use the lift more conveniently. Teachers took care of Elle when getting on and taking off the school bus. Elle felt that the school is a home away from home.

友善的老师，有趣的课堂

Elle’s classmates are nice and the teachers are amiable and easy-going. The staff understood Elle’s characteristics, academic interests, and hobbies shortly after she enrolled at NAS Beijing, Shunyi. 

Elle thinks that the teachers know her very well and they became friends, too. 

Our teachers comforted Elle when she is sad. Elle is touched because of our teachers’ kindness. 

NAS Beijing, Shunyi’s class is also very interesting. Our teachers give classes interactively and flexibly. Teachers use various approaches to consolidate students’ memory and organize group work encouraging discussion and understanding. 

Personalized education is one of our features. Our teachers gave Elle the learning materials and offer her study plans and guidance based on her abilities and aptitude. 

This approach kept Elle engaged and ensured constant interest and passion. Supplementary materials are also provided when necessary.

Because of our methods, Elle laid a solid academic foundation and fueled her inner drive. With her constant endeavour, Elle was praised by all the teachers and won many prizes, one of which was the Cloud Leopard Prize. 

丰富的课外活动

COLOURFUL EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Offering colourful extra-curricular activities is NAS Beijing, Shunyi’s uniqueness. We have the music festival, art week, swimming competition and many more. They are good opportunities for students to show themselves. 

Elle believes that she is an all-round student and is always excited when there is a campus event. She actively participated in the activities and preparations. 

This term, she started the Ancient Chinese History Club and become a prize winner in many swimming competitions. It is a fruitful year for doing well in a few music and dance performances. 

Elle’s favorite sport is softball. She plans to found our first softball school team in the new term. Elle is looking forward to achieving more at NAS Beijing, Shunyi.
