暑假来临，青苗学子的学习却并未松懈。青苗学子在2023 澳大利亚信息数学测评及国际数学建模挑战赛IMMC两门国际数学竞赛中过关斩将，气场全开，将八项奖项收入囊中，其中个人奖1项，团体奖7项，共26人获奖！值得关注的是董依依、毛一丁、连承轩及李在妍四位同学获得了国际数学建模挑战赛中华区一等奖！5组团队获得了国际数学建模挑战赛中华区二等奖！
The summer vacation is coming, but the study of BEANSTALK students did not slacken. Our students won eight awards, including one individual award and seven group awards, with a total of 26 winners in the 2023 Australian Information Mathematics Assessment (AMA) and the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC) international mathematics competitions! It is worth noting that Yiyi Dong, Yiding Mao, Chengxuan Lian and Jaeyeon Lee won the First Prize of the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IMMC) in China! 赛事：国际数学建模挑战赛IMMC
7月上旬，国际数学建模挑战赛结果出炉，青苗学子从两岸四地众多团队中脱颖而出，七个团队获奖，其中获得一等奖1项，二等奖5项，成功参赛奖1项！这并不是青苗学子首次参与国际数学建模挑战赛，在2022年时，青苗学子就已经取得中华赛特等提名奖4名、国际赛一等奖4名、中华赛一等奖8名、国际赛二等奖4名及中华赛二等奖7名的好成绩！
In early July, the results of the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge came out, and BEANSTALK students stood out from many teams from four places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, with seven teams winning awards, including one first prize, five second prizes, and one Successful Participation Award! This is not the first time for QMS students to participate in the International Mathematical Modeling Challenge. 国际数学建模挑战赛IMMC
国际数学建模挑战赛IMMC于2014年在美国波士顿创办，是一项面向全球中学生的国际性新型数学建模竞赛，其创办机构是美国数学及其应用联合会（COMAP）和香港儒莲教科文机构（NeoUnion），竞赛宗旨在于鼓励参赛者应用数学建模，探索和解决现实世界的重要问题，以普及数学建模教育，增强中学生科技创新核心素养与关键能力。
IMMC既是中学生数学建模与STEM实践历练的舞台，也是参赛中学的数学暨STEM教育成果展示与交流的园地。来自世界各地的参赛团队经过国家/区域赛的选拔，进入国际赛程。
International Mathematical Modeling Challenge IMMC, founded in 2014 in Boston, USA, is a new international mathematical modeling competition for secondary school students around the world. The founding organizations are the Consortium for Mathematics and its Applications (COMAP) and the Hong Kong Jurassic UNESCO (NeoUnion), and the purpose of the competition is to encourage the participants to apply mathematical modeling to explore and solve the important problems of the real world, in order to popularize mathematical modeling education and enhance secondary school students' core literacy and key competencies in science, technology and innovation.
IMMC is not only a stage for secondary school students to practice mathematical modeling and STEM practices, but also a place for participating secondary schools to display and exchange their achievements in mathematics and STEM education. Teams from all over the world are selected through national/regional competitions to enter the international program.

“在比赛过程中，遇到合适的队友很关键，”杨杰老师谈到，“这场比赛不是想考试一样，而是需要写论文、计算建模型多人合作分工，并且战线很长，非常考验同学们的耐力。”对此青苗提供的不只是老师的悉心陪伴与教育，还为同学们提供了赛前的专门培训，包括：论文的写作规范，编程等数学计算软件工具的使用，基本的数学建模方法等。
"In the process of the competition, it is very crucial to meet the right teammates," Mr. Yang Jie talked about, "This competition is not like trying to take an exam, but it needs to write a paper, calculate and build a model with multiple people cooperating and dividing the work, and the battle line is very long, which is a great test of the endurance of the students." In this regard, BEANSTALK provided not only the teachers' attentive accompaniment and education, but also the special training for students before the competition, including: the specification of writing thesis, the use of mathematical computing software tools such as programming, and the basic mathematical modeling methodology.

杨老师提出：“数学建模对同学们的综合素质要求比较高，学习过程同学们要学会坚持和科研精神，兴趣是最大的动力，数学功底是最大的底气，强大的身体素质是最大的力量源泉，学习数学建模就是要多实践，多操作，多总结，学以致用。”

96小时，挑战极限
这场比赛要在96个小时完成一篇论文，对初高中学生是一项巨大的挑战。不仅仅是数学知识的应用能力的比拼，还有身体素质的考验，全程需要同学们持续高强度的输出，有的团队在深夜2-3点都还在讨论问题，虽然大家很累，但是思维的碰撞，精益求精的态度让他们忘记了所有的疲惫，从以往的比赛过程中总结的经验来说，坚持到最后的同学最终会胜出。而在本次比赛中，青苗学子的努力也得到了回报，取得了七个团队奖项！

近日澳大利亚数学竞赛(CAT)结果出炉！此次比赛共有来自超过全国2000所国际学校和重点学校的近40,000名学生参赛。青苗学子披荆斩棘。在最终竞赛中获得了全球三等奖的优异成绩！
The results of the Australian Mathematics Competition (CAT) were recently released! Nearly 40,000 students from over 2,000 international schools and key schools across the country participated in the competition. Qingmiao students have overcome all obstacles. In the final competition, they won the third place in the global competition!
