问：为什么在高中选择参加国际竞赛？Q: Why did you choose to participate in international competitions in high school?张：我参加国际竞赛，其实是有很多原因的。一方面，国际竞赛可以提供一种不同于传统学习方式的挑战，可以让我接触到更广阔、更深入的知识体系和学习方法，从而进一步激发我的学习热情和动力。另一方面，参加国际竞赛，可以促进我了解自己在全球同龄人中的位置和水平，更清晰地评估自己的学术能力，并为以后的大学申请和职业发展增加竞争力和优势。Zhang: There are actually many reasons for me to participate in international competitions. On the one hand, international competitions can provide a challenge that is different from traditional learning methods. They can expose me to broader and more in-depth knowledge systems and learning methods, thereby further stimulating my enthusiasm and motivation for learning. On the other hand, participating in international competitions can help me understand my position and level among peers worldwide more clearly, evaluate my academic abilities, and increase my competitiveness and advantages for future university applications and career development.

By participating in international competitions, I can develop self-confidence, independent thinking, and problem-solving abilities through self-challenge and teamwork. Global competitions help me improve my academic knowledge, cultivate my comprehensive qualities, increase my international vision, laying a solid foundation for future development.
问：请谈谈AMC竞赛与数学学习的关系？Q: Please discuss the relationship between the AMC competition and mathematics learning.
答：曾经，我对数学学科有畏惧感，每当老师提出数学问题时，我心里就一片茫然，甚至感到无从下手。但是，一次偶然的机会，让我接触到了AMC竞赛，这次比赛的参加要求，完全涵盖了我之前学过的数学知识点，但我仍然感到了极大的挑战和困难。我开始通过自学、请教老师以及与同学一起讨论的方式，提高自己的数学水平。渐渐地，我开始对数字世界充满了热情，我发现自己能够在自由排列的数列、形状各异的几何图形以及复杂难解的函数中找到自己的兴趣点。Zhang: I used to have a sense of fear towards mathematics. Whenever my teacher raised a math problem, I felt lost and did not know where to start. However, by chance, I came into contact with the AMC competition. The requirements for participating in this competition completely covered the mathematical knowledge points I had learned before, but I still felt great challenges and difficulties. I began to improve my math skills through self-study, consulting teachers for help, and communicating with classmates. Gradually, I became passionate about the digital world. I could see my interest in the freely arranged sequence, geometric figures of various shapes, and complex functions.
这次竞赛不仅让我深刻体会到了数学学习的意义，还让我更加了解了自己的兴趣与爱好。更重要的是，它让我明白，只要肯努力敢拼搏，就一定能够达到自己想要的目标。This competition not only gave me the most profound understanding of the meaning of mathematics learning, but also let me know more about my interests and hobbies. More importantly, it made me understand that as long as I work hard and dare to challenge myself actively, I will be able to achieve my desired goal.
