IGCSE Vocabulary Competition&Reading Competition IGCSE单词及阅读大赛

On September 15th, the Shanghai Australian International School held a Y10 Vocabulary Competition with our teachers Isabel, Conan, Nina and Xianxian Chen participating together. This competition consisted of four rounds-Speed Spelling, Laser letters,  Letter by Letterand Super Words. Students who survived through these four rounds received rewards. In order to reflect the fairness of the competition and encourage students to participate,  students were divided into two groups (group A and B) depending on their English levels. This form of competition is a major feature in our school. In this way, primary level students can also have the confidence to participate in the competition and win a place so as to improve their enthusiasm and confidence in learning English.  there was one first prize, one second prize and one third prize for each group. All of our students have participated in this competition actively and after the rat race, many were prize winners.

2022年9月15号下午，我校举行了IGCSE-2年级阅读及阅读大赛。单词大赛指导老师Isabel Conan和Nina老师，班主任陈贤贤老师出席本次活动。朗读大赛指导老师Isabel Conan和评委Hector，Mark 和Nina老师出席本次活动。学生们踊跃参加，积极表现，展示了我校学生的风采。详细报道如下。

一．赛前准备：为了体现比赛的公平性和提升学生们的参与度，老师根据学生的英语水平，将学生分为A,B两组。此种比赛形式是我校英语组比赛的一大特色。通过这种基础好和弱的学生单独分组比赛的形式，基础薄弱的学生也可以有信心参加比赛，并可以取得名次，从而提高英语学习的积极性和信心。每组将角逐出一名一等奖，一名二等奖和一名三等奖。
