语言传递事实和信息，思想和情感，已经成为了不可缺少的交流工具。正如哲学家路德希·维特根斯坦所说“我的语言界限就是我的世界界限”。如果只掌握一种语言，那么就大大限制了我们和这个世界的沟通与交流。

今年诺德安达夏令营英语课程采用全英文沉浸式外教授课，致力于在潜移默化中改变孩子的思维模式。第一期夏令营的英语课程将会被分为三个小组：小学组，初中组和高中组。本次夏令营的英语课程也会采用英语演讲、辩论赛、表演及游戏等丰富多彩的教学形式，激发孩子们对英语的学习兴趣，感受到语言的魅力。

第二期夏令营的英语课程针对九年级及以上高中学生，强化雅思英语培训。雅思作为全球认可度最高的语言水平考试之一，已经成为了名校衡量申请者英语水平的优先选择。诺德安达夏令营的雅思课程由资深雅思英语老师执教，将提升孩子们在雅思考试中的实力，优化考试成绩。

Language conveys facts and information, emotions and thoughts, and it has become an indispensable communication tool. As the Ludwig Wittgenstein said, “The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.” If we only master one language, we will greatly limit our communication with the world.

This year, the English lessons of the summer camp at Nord Anglia School Nantong adopt an immersive instruction in English, aiming to subtly change children’s thinking patterns. The English course in the first session will be divided into three groups: Primary, Middel and High school. The English course in this summer camp will also hold English speech, debate contest, performance and games to stimulate children’s interest in English learning and feel the charm of language.

The English course of the session 2 of the summer camp is aimed at high school students from Grade 9 and above, with intensive IELTS training.IELTS has become the preferred choice for elite universities to measure applicant’ English proficiency. The IELTS courses at Nordanda Summer Camp will be taught by experienced IELTS teachers, it will help students improve their IELTS performance and improve their scores.

艺术与设计 Arts

诺德安达的艺术课程秉承以探究为核心的教育理念，通过小组分层式教学，为不同阶段的学生提供适合的课程，为将来考入世界艺术专业名校奠定基础。

同样，针对不同阶段的学生，第一期夏令营的艺术课程也会被分为三个小组进行教学：小学组，初中组和高中组。

对于小学组的学生们， 老师会以艺术启蒙为主要授课方向，比如世界名画鉴赏课、入门级写生、素描、初级绘画等，以提高孩子对于艺术的认知。

针对中学组的学生们， 老师则会注重这个阶段学生的创造与设计，例如户外艺术写生、素描、油画等。他们有机会培养对艺术的兴趣，培养学生对艺术的兴趣和创造力。

面向高中组同学开放的艺术课程将会和高中升学专业密切相关，尤其是对那些对艺术有追求，渴望在艺术和设计方向有所造诣的学生，老师除了提供艺术课程的专业指导外，还会在大学申请艺术作品集方面给予指导。

Nord Anglia School Nantong adheres to the educational concept of Inquiry as the core and provides appropriate courses for students at different stages through group teaching, leading them into the palace of knowledge.

Similarly, for students at different stages, the art courses for the Session 2 will be divided into three groups as well: Primary, Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary.

For students in Primary group, teachers will focus on art enlightenment as the main teaching direction. For example,  appreciation classes of some famous paintings, entry-level sketching, primary painting, which improve children’s cognition of art.

For students in Lower Secondary, teachers will pay attention to the creation and design of students, such as outdoor art sketching, sketch, etc. They can cultivate their interest in arts, improve their aesthetic ability and develop the habit of self-reflection by thinking carefully about their creation and analysis of works.

The art courses for students in Upper Secondary will be closely related to the major of high school entrance, especially for those students who have a pursuit of art and desire to be accomplished in the direction of art and design, the teacher will not only provide professional guidance on art courses, but also give guidance on the application of art portfolio to the university.

综合理科 STEAM

南通诺德安达学校鼓励学生们在多个学科和领域同步提高与发展，因此在第二期夏令营中开设了STEAM课程。

STEAM 课程是由科学（Science）、技术 (Technology) 、工程 (Engineering) 、艺术 (Arts) 、数学 (Mathematics) 等学科共同构成的跨学科课程。近年来由于它跨学科、多场景、重实践的特点，STEAM 课程在国际学校被广泛推广。

对于低年级学生，老师们将会带领同学设计“人工智能赛车”。通过了解并学习编程数据结构和算法、机器人IO控制、结构、物联通信、编程电控和硬件结构设计等。我们旨在让孩子们结合软件和硬件知识亲手设计一款可以完成各种无人驾驶竞技挑战的人工智能赛车：足球、竞技、相扑、攻城......

对于高年级学生，老师们会组织同学们亲自设计并制作“智能云灯”。老师们会给同学们介绍传感器运作、物联通信、控制系统等相关技术知识，让同学们亲手打造一个属于自己的“智能云灯”。

除此以外，我们有全方位支持商科经管方向同学课外活动的深度与资质。同时，通过我们专业的培训以及辅导，我们也将支持他们参加一些国际认可度高的商业类竞赛，例如“FBLA”、“BPA" 等，增强专业知识、为自己的简历增加含金量！

Nord Anglia School Nantong encourages students to improve and develop simultaneously in multiple disciplines and areas. So, STEAM course is offered in second session of the summer camp.

STEAM is an interdisciplinary course composed of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and other disciplines. In recent years, STEAM has been widely promoted in international schools due to is interdisciplinary, multi-context, and practice-oriented nature.

For middle school group, teachers will lead students to design "Artificial Intelligence Racing Car".Through understanding and learning programming data structure and algorithm, robot IO control, structure, Internet of Things communication, programming electronic control and hardware structure design. We aim to allow children to combine software and hardware knowledge to design an artificial intelligence racing car that can complete a variety of unmanned competitive challenges: football, athletics, sumo wrestling, siege......

For High school group, For senior students, teachers will organize students to design and make "Intelligent lamps" by themselves. Teachers will introduce the sensor operation, Internet of Things communication, control system and other relevant technical knowledge to students, so that students can create their own "Intelligent lamp" by themselves.

In addition, we have the qualification to fully support the extracurricular activities of students in Business Management. At the same time, through our professional training and guidance, we will also take part in some approved international business contests, such as "FBLA", "BPA", etc, which enhance professional knowledge and increase the quality what they did.

体育锻炼 Sports

为了提升学生们的身体素质，增强他们的协调能力，第二期夏令营开设了全新的体育课程。利用南通诺德安达学校丰富的体育设施，孩子们将体验到一系列体育活动。

夏令营还将在保障学生安全的条件下组织一些竞技友谊赛，因此提高学生们的积极性，培养健康且有规律的锻炼习惯。

In order to improve the students’ physical fitness and enhance their coordination ability, the summer camp set up a new physical education course.Utilising NASNTs fantastic facilities children will get to experience a range of sports.

The camps will also organize some competitive friendly matches under the condition of ensuring the safety of students, so that improve the enthusiasm of students and cultivate healthy and regular exercise habit.
